Job summary

Global Impact Collective is seeking a Marketing and Communications Manager to drive content, campaigns, and events for client work and initiatives. You’ll craft newsletters, edit materials, coordinate calendars, and support internal communications, while managing our brand and digital presence.

Remote role with Seattle preference, full-time contract with potential conversion to FTE. You’ll collaborate with senior consultants, shape messaging, and help create measurable impact in food systems

Qualifications

• 4-5 years of experience in communications, marketing, content development, events, or related fields.
• Strong writer and editor able to turn complex input into clear, engaging materials.
• Campaign-minded with ability to build awareness and drive participation over time.
• Highly organized with editorial calendars, deadlines, reviews, and multiple workstreams.
• Detail-oriented with strong proofreading and formatting skills.
• Tech fluent: comfortable with Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Outlook; able to learn new tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and edit newsletters, emails, announcements, presentations, and web content.
• Plan and manage campaigns and calendars, target audiences, and engagement.
• Create materials: PowerPoint decks, emails, basic graphics, and templates.
• Support events: coordinate speakers, timelines, and logistics for virtual and in-person events.
• Support GIC marketing: manage website (Framer), social media, editorial calendar, and brand materials.
• Manage projects and follow-ups across communications, campaigns, and events.
