Job summary

Global Impact Collective, a woman-owned strategy consultancy, is seeking a Strategy Associate to grow our food systems and sustainability portfolio. You will work with senior consultants to research questions, synthesize information, and develop client-ready deliverables, while supporting workshops and stakeholder engagement.

You'll have meaningful responsibility from day one, with mentorship and opportunities to advance as you build consulting skills and contribute to meaningful client work

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, sustainable business, food science, environmental studies, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in consulting, research, sustainability, food systems, strategy, or social impact.
• Interest in food systems, sustainability, and social impact.
• Experience with qualitative and quantitative research methods.
• Ability to move from data to clear insights and recommendations.
• Organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Clear written and verbal communication for client-ready deliverables.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Miro, Claude, and willingness to learn new tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver multi-stakeholder client projects and create high-quality deliverables.
• Maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, and documentation.
• Prepare agendas, notes, and follow-up items for meetings/workshops.
• Assist with client communications and status updates.
• Lead primary and secondary research: literature reviews, landscape scans, interviews, data gathering.
• Analyze data and turn it into clear insights and recommendations.
• Support budget tracking, invoicing, and expense reconciliation.
