Qualifications

• 3+ years in roles requiring rapid learning and sound judgment (e.g., consulting, strategy, investing).
• Comfort with data and AI topics is a plus, but curiosity matters more than sector background.
• Ability to prepare thoroughly for conversations and ask sharp questions.
• Ability to synthesize research into clear, well-reasoned recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain understanding of PJMF’s grantmaking focus areas and the role of data/AI.
• Conduct landscape analyses to identify opportunities in AI and data science for social good.
• Produce portfolio retrospectives to inform future priorities and investments.
• Prepare evidence-based materials to support funding decisions.
• Identify opportunities for collaboration across grantees and fields to increase impact.
• Summarize learnings from grants and external sources into actionable insights.
