The Patrick J. McGovern Foundation is seeking a Portfolio Analyst to advance grantmaking using data science and AI. You will research potential partners, conduct due diligence, and prepare materials to support grant decisions.

The role emphasizes strategic thinking, learning, and collaboration across teams. You will monitor AI/data ecosystem trends, distill insights from grants, and help shape how PJMF deploys capital to accelerate responsible tech solutions worldwide.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in consulting, business analysis, strategy, or investing.
• Comfort with data and AI topics is a plus, but curiosity and the ability to get up to speed quickly matter more.
• Ability to synthesize findings and present clear recommendations.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain a working understanding of PJMF’s grantmaking focus areas and the role of data and AI solutions.
• Identify nonprofit and civil society partners aligned with PJMF’s strategy for potential funding.
• Prepare clear, evidence-based recommendation materials to support funding decisions.
• Summarize learnings from grant reports into actionable insights for future investments.
