Job summary

The Global Development Incubator (GDI) is seeking an experienced Manager of Operations and Compliance to enhance its nonprofit operations and donor compliance across multiple initiatives. The role supports finance, accounting, and talent teams while ensuring effective subcontracting, subaward management, and program operations.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in nonprofit settings, strong procurement experience, and a proactive problem-solving mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 5+ years of progressive experience in a related position.
• Experience with subcontracting, procurement, and subawards under prime agreements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Razor-sharp problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities, with ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Provide operations and compliance support to GDI and affiliated initiatives, including subcontracting and subawarding activities.
• Review procurement documentation and guide staff and partners; draft/negotiate subcontracts and ensure donor compliance.
• Prepare and maintain registration and compliance documents; develop and disseminate policies and training for staff.
• Manage donor and grant activities: review agreements, guide staff on compliance, track reporting and deliverables.
