Job summary

City Year seeks an Impact Manager to lead a team of AmeriCorps members delivering tutoring and school‑based support at partner schools. You will coach members, monitor performance, and align service with school priorities to improve student outcomes.

You will mentor members through career exploration, ensure compliance with AmeriCorps requirements, and foster a collaborative culture across teams and school partners.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in youth development, people management, education, or comparable experience.
• Authorized documentation to work in the United States.
• Ability to pass criminal background checks for working with school‑age children.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and coach a team of AmeriCorps members to deliver tutoring and school‑level supports.
• Mentor members in career exploration and skill development for post‑service plans.
• Ensure AmeriCorps service requirements are met, including hours, documentation, and policy adherence.
• Foster a positive, inclusive team culture and collaborate with school partners.
• Guide data‑driven coaching to meet school priorities and track impact.
