Job summary

SEKISUI Aerospace in Renton is seeking a 1st shift Advanced Composites Manufacturing Lead to supervise production of composite materials and mentor team members. You will coordinate with engineers, schedule work, and drive quality and efficiency on the shop floor.

The ideal candidate has strong manufacturing leadership experience, excellent communication, and the ability to implement process improvements in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of team leadership experience preferred.
• ERP/MRP or similar software experience preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and organize work departments daily.
• Provide direction and schedule production team members' daily activities.
• Frequently monitor and report on work progress.
• Communicate with all departments about needs, priorities, and issues.
• Promote flow and pull of products and information to internal and external customers.
• Identify, investigate, and address problems on the production floor.
• Coach, mentor, and develop team members by investigating root causes of scrap and RMA issues.
• Train and orient new employees on company standards and procedures.
• Implement 5S tools and reduce variation in the work environment.
• Identify and lead continuous improvement activities.
• Ensure company goals and objectives are being met by each employee and provide constructive feedback.
