Job summary

Laureus USA seeks a dedicated Accounting & Operations Manager to oversee daily finance operations, compliance, and internal controls, with about 80% focus on accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting.

Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will partner with leadership and the Operations Director to strengthen governance, optimize processes, and support grant administration and audits, in a collaborative nonprofit environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• Minimum three years nonprofit finance or accounting experience.
• Experience supporting multiple departments and deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounts payable, cash receipts, and journal entries.
• Manage month-end close, reconciliations, and general ledger.
• Support grant accounting, reporting, and compliance requirements.
• Coordinate audits and provide documentation for external auditors.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial dashboards.
