Job summary

BMO Financial Group in the Southeast region, with primary focus on Florida, seeks a Commercial Credit Analyst/Associate to support Relationship Managers and Portfolio Managers in underwriting and credit decisions. You will prepare underwriting packages, perform financial analyses, and assist in credit discussions for new and existing clients in the Southeast region.

Responsibilities include evaluating financial statements, monitoring covenant compliance, and supporting ongoing credit monitoring.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Business Administration, Finance and Accounting preferred.
• 3–4 years of credit or lending experience or related financial operations.
• Strong analytical skills and foundational credit knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial analysis and assess client creditworthiness; prepare detailed credit summaries.
• Analyze financial statements, covenant compliance, and risk profiles across the portfolio.
• Support credit‑granting decisions and loan structuring in line with bank policies.
• Monitor portfolio performance and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Develop proposals to capture new business and expand client relationships.
