selfpublishing.com is hiring an SDR in Austin to be the first point of contact for aspiring authors. You will learn stories, understand goals, and set consults with Publishing Strategists to guide authors forward, while representing the brand at 2–4 live events each month.

Required are proven sales results, CRM expertise, and willingness to travel. This high-impact role offers a base salary and uncapped commission, with strong growth potential as the team scales.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience with high earners (e.g., $150K+ total past sales).
• CRM & structured sales process experience is required.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently (2–4 events per month).
• Live in the Austin area (Westlake proximity).

Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to warm, qualified leads (no cold calls).
• Have real conversations with goal-driven prospects to understand aims and challenges.
• Set high‑quality, no‑cost strategy calls with our Publishing team.
• Represent selfpublishing.com at live events (2–4 per month).
• Speak on stage to share our mission and services.
• Collaborate with a fast‑moving team and help build a high-performing sales org.
