Job summary

Accurate ABA in Elkridge, MD is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support ABA programs under BCBA supervision. The role focuses on implementing behavior intervention plans and promoting positive skills in individuals with developmental disabilities.

The position offers flexible afternoon/evening hours, a sign-on bonus, and benefits including health, vision, dental, PTO, 401k, and professional development support. Travel to client locations is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Current RBT certification or ability to become RBT within 90 days.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges preferred.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client locations.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) designed by the BCBA to address target behaviors and skill deficits.
• Implement behavior reduction procedures and strategies to decrease challenging behaviors and promote positive behavior change.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including parents, caregivers, teachers and other professionals.
• Participate in regular supervision sessions with the BCBA to review client progress and treatment strategies.
