Thompson Child & Family Focus, Inc. is seeking a Quality Improvement Specialist to help programs stay compliant with COA standards and drive Continuous Quality Improvement across the organization.

You will develop reports, coordinate with leadership, and participate in CQI activities. The role requires a bachelor’s degree, 3 years of behavioral health experience, and strong knowledge of Medicaid/CQI with excellent communication and office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3 years Behavioral health/Human service experience required.
• Knowledge of Medicaid standards, NC Managed Care, CQI, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with investigations of grievances; knowledge of Joint Commission accreditation preferred.
• Strong computer skills including MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Ensure COA standards compliance and preparation for COA surveys.
• Assist with organization-wide policy and procedure updates and distribution.
• Develop Performance & Quality Improvement forms for cross-department communication.
• Create and disseminate reports and notices throughout the agency.
• Serve on CQI sub-committees and attend CQI team meetings.
• Conduct internal monitoring and complete related tools and exit summaries.
• Support audits and plans of correction; ensure follow-through.
• Monitor safety, quality, staff supervision, documentation and training effectiveness.
