Job summary

Integrated Services for Behavioral Health seeks a Quality Specialist to develop and evaluate quality initiatives across the organization. You will monitor performance metrics, ensure CARF/Medicaid/MHIP alignment, and promote continuous improvement in healthcare delivery.

The role requires a public health or healthcare admin background, 2+ years in quality improvement, and strong data analysis skills. OhioRISE involvement and cross‑team collaboration are key aspects of the position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public health, health administration, psychology, social work, nursing, or related field required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• At least 2 years in healthcare or behavioral health quality improvement.
• Experience with quality improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, PDSA).
• Experience with regulatory/accreditation requirements (CARF, Medicaid, Medicare, HIPAA).
• 2+ years of data analysis experience with relevant platforms.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Collaborative work with interdisciplinary teams.
• Comfort with Internet-based, automated office environments.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and report data on quality indicators, outcomes, and client satisfaction.
• Assist with internal and external audits, including chart reviews and regulatory surveys.
• Support accreditation compliance with CARF, Medicaid, Medicare, and licensing standards.
• Lead or support quality improvement projects and PDSA cycles.
• Work on OhioRISE program quality efforts ensuring policy and contract compliance.
• Monitor CAPs and drive follow-up on improvements.
• Develop and update quality policies, procedures, and training materials.
• Prepare and coordinate quality committee meetings (agendas, minutes, follow-ups).
• Create dashboards and visualizations for internal quality and compliance reporting.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure proper documentation and service delivery.
