Job summary

Hampshire Regional YMCA seeks a senior Marketing & Development Director to lead messaging, fundraising, and community engagement. Under the CEO, you will shape communications, manage donor relations, and guide fundraising events and campaigns to support our mission for all, regardless of age or background.

You will oversee content creation, website and social media management, and donor communications, while collaborating with program directors to promote offerings and drive impact.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in development/fundraising, communications, marketing, or a related field.
• Ability to learn and effectively utilize new technology and database systems.
• Strong donor relationships and fundraising solicitation capabilities.
• Experience with content creation and managing digital channels.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development and fundraising programs including donor cultivation and stewardship.
• Manage and edit content for internal and external audiences across marketing channels.
• Maintain branch website and social media outlets (Facebook, Instagram).
• Perform graphic design for signage, guides, schedules, flyers, etc.
• Use Constant Contact for member communications and outreach.
• Advertise programs through various channels on a cyclical timeline.
• Participate in leadership team functions and strategic planning.
• Oversee Capital Campaign and Planned Giving efforts.
