Richard, Purpose Builders, seeks a Marketing & Business Development Intern to support brand development, content creation, and market research within the construction industry. You will collaborate with the Marketing and Business Development teams on proposals, digital content, events, and client development to drive growth.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a degree in Marketing or related field with strong writing and organizational skills, plus a creative mindset.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Public Relations, or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Creative mindset with interest in branding and business strategy.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CRM platforms, or similar tools is a plus.
• Interest in construction, architecture, engineering, real estate, or professional services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development of marketing materials, presentations, proposals, and qualifications packages.
• Support social media and digital content development.
• Assist with writing, editing, and organizing company and project content.
• Help maintain project profiles, resumes, photography, and marketing assets.
• Support branding initiatives and internal communications.
• Conduct market and industry research to identify potential clients and growth opportunities.
• Research prospective clients and business development opportunities.
• Assist with proposal and pursuit coordination.
• Help with client presentations and meeting preparation.
• Coordinate company events, conferences, sponsorships, and community engagement initiatives.
• Track marketing activities and maintain relevant databases.
