Capital Engineering is seeking a Marketing & Business Development Intern for a part-time, in-office role in Rancho Cordova, CA. The intern will work closely with the Marketing Manager to support a range of marketing, communications, and business development tasks within the AEC industry.

The position offers hands-on exposure to marketing strategy, proposal development, social media, event coordination, and database management, with mentorship and real project ownership.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or a related field.
• Available for part-time in-office internship in California.
• Willing to support marketing, communications, and business development initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Support Marketing team with a variety of marketing initiatives.
• Assist with proposal production, printing, binding, and shipping.

Position:Marketing & Business Development Intern

Position Type: Part Time

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is fully in office.

The Marketing & Business Development Intern will support Capital Engineer’s Marketing team while gaining hands-on experience in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry. Working directly with the Marketing Manager, the intern will contribute to a variety of marketing, communications, business development, and administrative initiatives while developing valuable professional skills and industry knowledge.

This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to marketing strategy, proposal development, social media, event coordination, business development research, and database management. The successful candidate will receive mentorship, take ownership of meaningful project tasks, and learn industry best practices, including emerging marketing technologies and AI tools.

Candidates must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or a related field.
