Richard is seeking a Marketing & Business Development Intern to support brand strengthening and growth initiatives in the Marketing & Business Development team. You will gain hands-on experience across content development, digital marketing, proposals, market research, events, and client development within the construction industry.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Public Relations, Graphic Design, or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Creative mindset with an interest in storytelling, branding, and business strategy.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CRM platforms, social media tools, or similar software is a plus.
• Interest in construction, architecture, engineering, real estate, or professional services is a plus.
• Desire to learn and grow within a collaborative organization.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development of marketing materials, presentations, proposals, and qualifications packages.
• Support social media and digital content development.
• Assist with writing, editing, and organizing company and project content.
• Help maintain project profiles, employee resumes, photography, and marketing assets.
• Support company branding initiatives and internal communications.
• Assist with market and industry research to identify potential clients, projects, and growth opportunities.
• Research prospective clients and business development opportunities.
• Support proposal and pursuit coordination.
• Assist with client presentations and meeting preparation.
• Help coordinate company events, conferences, sponsorships, and community engagement initiatives.
• Track marketing and business development activities and maintain relevant databases.
• Collaborate with Operations, Preconstruction, and other departments to gather project information.
• Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and professional development opportunities.
