Job summary

The Health Access & Affordability Project Coordinator supports UVM Health initiatives across Vermont and Northern New York, working to reduce financial, transportation, geographic, digital, and other nonclinical barriers to care. Under the Community Health Improvement Manager, the Coordinator organizes activities, coordinates partners, and tracks timelines and deliverables.

Areas of focus include cost of care, financial assistance, transportation, rural and digital access, and health system

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; equivalent combination considered.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Experience with multi-department projects and community partners preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project activities and track timelines.
• Facilitate collaboration among partner hospitals, clinical teams, and community organizations.
• Gather input from patients and partners to identify access barriers.
• Support assessments and improvement plans focusing on nonclinical barriers.
