Job summary

MSA Safety is hiring a Production Technician II for Final Assembly at our Cranberry Township, PA plant. 2nd shift runs Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, with starting pay of $27.35/hr and 1 opening.

The role involves assembling and testing moderately complex instruments, reading drawings, performing inspections, and maintaining paperwork. You will operate tools and assist with material transfers while ensuring quality standards.

Qualifications

Must attain ability to perform complex SAP transactions.
Infrequently stand in a stationary position and lift up to 30 pounds.
Work on your feet for up to 8 hours per day.
Regularly perform work that requires magnification.
Strong manual dexterity for use of tools and small components.
Use power and hand tools, pallet jack, and equipment.
Communicate with various levels within the organization.
Work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Assemble and test (including set-up) moderately complex instruments and sub-assemblies.
Transfer material to shipping dock.
Perform visual inspections and minor repairs or rework.
Complete and maintain relevant paperwork and input data in computer system.
Read and understand drawings, work instructions and test procedures.
Understand standard units of measure and interpret measuring device results.
Perform standard software operations.
