Job summary

MSA Safety in Cranberry Township, PA is hiring a Production Technician II for Final Assembly on a 3rd shift (11:00 pm – 7:00 am). The role focuses on assembling, calibrating gas instruments, wiring and soldering sub-assemblies, with strong attention to documentation.

You will inspect, perform minor repairs, and record test data in our system, using test equipment such as oscilloscopes and voltmeters. Prior soldering experience and an electronics background are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months electronics manufacturing or related experience.
• Past soldering experience required.
• Associates degree in electronics or electronic technology required.
• In lieu of degree, 3 years of experience working in the permanent instrument area required.
• Demonstrated proficiency in soldering.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and calibrate gas instruments and sub-assemblies.
• Visually inspect, perform minor repairs, and document results.
• Enter data into the computer system and maintain paperwork.
