Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be a student enrolled full-time in an accredited degree-seeking program in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, or a related field, and continue to be enrolled full-time the semester following the internship.
• Familiarity with Python or R demonstrated through coursework or projects.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI U.S Government issued Security Clearance. U.S. citizenship required.
• Requires a minimum of 4 days a week on-site.

Responsibilities

• Help translate government sponsor challenges into analytical questions and testable hypotheses with guidance from experienced data scientists.
• Prepare, clean, and analyze datasets to support end-to-end data analytic pipelines.
• Assist with developing, testing, and evaluating statistical and machine learning models for real-world problems.
• Create visualizations and dashboards that communicate analytical findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate with technical teams to document methods, code, and results and contribute to project reports and presentation.
