Job summary

MITRE in the United States is offering a data science internship where you will work with a team of experts to apply your knowledge across data analysis, optimization, and visualization. You will contribute to augmented decision-making, simulation, and systems modeling while gaining hands-on experience in a collaborative, mission-focused environment.

The internship requires you to be a full-time student enrolled in a relevant degree program and to maintain enrollment for the following semester,

Qualifications

Must be a full-time student pursuing an accredited degree in Data Science, Math, Statistics, OR or related disciplines.
Must continue to be enrolled the semester following the internship.
Foundational knowledge of data science, math, statistics or operations research methodologies, frameworks, tools and/or programming languages.
Must have sustained excellence in academic performance.

Responsibilities

Apply data science, math, statistics, or operations research concepts to real-world problems.
Perform data analysis and visualization tasks.
Assist in augmented decision-making and analytics.
Contribute to simulations and computational analytics.
Support systems modeling and operational efficiency projects.
