Job summary

MITRE is seeking motivated interns in data science, mathematics, statistics, or operations research to work with a team of experts on real projects across the organization. You will gain hands‑on experience in data analysis, visualization, and quantitative modeling within a collaborative, mission‑driven environment.

Qualified students must be enrolled full‑time in an accredited degree program and remain enrolled for the following semester.

Qualifications

• Must be a full‑time student pursuing an accredited degree program in Data Science, Math, Statistics, Operations Research or related disciplines.
• Must continue to be enrolled the semester following the internship.
• Foundational knowledge of data science, math, statistics or operations research methodologies, frameworks, tools and/or programming languages.
• Must have sustained excellence in academic performance.
