Notre Dame Law School seeks an Assistant Director for Public Interest Initiatives to expand professional development resources for students pursuing public interest and government careers. You will provide counseling on job search strategy, interview prep, and networking while supporting office-wide programming.

The role includes coordinating employer engagement, alumni outreach, and employment-data reporting to inform program development and outcomes. Based on campus in South Bend, IN.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree required.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in the legal industry.
• Experience with public interest or government employers preferred but not required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to coach students.

Responsabilités

• Lead Career Development Office efforts to expand and evolve programming for public interest and government careers.
• Provide career advising support to students and alumni, including job search strategies and networking.
• Plan and execute recruiting events for public interest and government employers; outreach with alumni and employers.
• Maintain detailed records of counseling interactions and assist with data collection and reporting.
