Job summary

Great Lakes Inter-Tribal Council Inc. seeks a Program Director for the Family Foundations Home Visitor (FFHV) program. You will oversee grant objective compliance across subaward sites, provide fiscal and technical assistance, and support CQI and HFA fidelity with Growing Great Kids curriculum.

Frequent travel to sites is required. The role requires a Master’s or related degree with applicable experience; strong grant management skills; and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in public health or human services or related field; orBachelor’s in these fields with 3 years relevant experience; or less than a bachelor’s but with commensurate HFA experience.
• Grant writing and management experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; professional demeanor.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for GLITC, County, and Tribal contracted staff with training, mediation, and team building.
• Lead the vision and plan to serve sites; ensure compliance through monitoring and reporting.
• Maintain administrative structure and execute program goals and objectives.
• Maintain fiscal responsibility for all program budgets and development; allocate expenses per requirements.
• Stay current on federal/state monitoring compliance and prepare accurate records.
• Oversee data reporting for sites to DAISEY data system and monitoring.
• Stay trained on HFA model, Growing Great Kids Curriculum, and FFHV grant compliance from DCF.
• Conduct regular on-site visits to offer technical assistance, including staff hiring, orientation, training, and subaward monitoring.
• Update policies and review performance benchmarks.
