Job summary

SUNY Adirondack seeks a Director of the Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) to develop the overall vision and oversee all EOP functions and operations. This role leads grant compliance, budgeting, program operation, and performance reporting within the Student Affairs division.

The Director will supervise Pre-Freshman Summer Institute and Academic Year programming, collaborate with campus offices to recruit and support under-resourced students, and ensure adherence to SUNY EOP guidelines while

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required.
• 3–5 years of experience in administering programs serving educationally or economically disadvantaged populations.
• Experience supervising personnel and managing budgets.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport and empower students from diverse backgrounds.
• Commitment to serving under-resourced college students.

Responsibilities

• Develop the overall vision and oversee all EOP functions and operations.
• Direct, supervise, and coordinate all program functions and staff.
• Plan and direct workflow to meet program objectives and outcomes.
• Recruit and select program participants to meet enrollment goals.
• Coordinate with campus offices to develop EOP processes.
• Prepare reports and ensure SUNY EOP guidelines are followed.
