Job summary

California State University, Fullerton invites applications for the Director, Educational Opportunity Program and First-Generation Student Initiatives. This leadership role oversees EOP and related programs to boost retention and graduation among first-generation and low-income students, guiding staff and program operations.

The position requires a master's degree, five years of experience in student affairs, strong counseling and enrollment-management skills, and a commitment to inclusive

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field.
• Minimum of five years of progressively responsible student affairs experience.
• Experience advising students individually and in groups.
• Experience supervising staff and leading others.
• Knowledge of enrollment management and student retention programs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee administration and leadership of EOP and First-Generation initiatives.
• Manage staff coordinating programs like First-Generation Student Programming, Summer Bridge, the EOP Learning Community, Transfer Student Experience Programs, the Peer Mentor Program.
• Direct enrollment management including recruitment, yield analysis, and admissions.
• Develop and manage annual operating budget; represent CSU Fullerton at statewide meetings.
