Job summary

United Way for Greater Austin seeks a Data and Evaluation Manager to support data collection, analysis, reporting, and dashboard development across programs and partnerships. This role partners with staff and community partners to ensure data quality and actionable insights that strengthen outcomes for children, families, and communities.

The ideal candidate is analytical, self-directed, detail-oriented, and committed to learning.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience with data management, research, performance measurement, or related work.
• Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred in relevant fields.
• Strong experience collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and reporting data from multiple sources.
• Experience creating reports, dashboards, and data visualizations for diverse audiences.
• Proficient with Excel and large databases; experience with MySQL, Python, Apricot, Salesforce is preferred.
• Experience with Tableau or similar visualization tools (e.g., DOMO, PowerBI) required.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of programs and initiatives.
• Collect, organize, validate, analyze, and interpret data from multiple sources.
• Develop and maintain data infrastructure and documentation.
• Develop and update dashboards and data visualizations communicating KPIs and outcomes.
• Monitor data quality and troubleshoot data-related issues.
• Support evaluation activities including data collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Conduct community-level research and trend analyses for program planning.
