Job summary

Junior Achievement of Tampa Bay is seeking a Communications Coordinator to lead our email marketing and internal communications efforts. You will manage campaigns for JA programs, donors, volunteers, and educators, while maintaining brand voice across channels.

You will collaborate with multiple teams, automate sequences in Constant Contact, and report on performance. The role includes writing, design, and audience segmentation to drive engagement and fundraising impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or relevant field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in marketing, communications, or public relations.
• Hands on experience managing email campaigns and lists in Constant Contact or a comparable platform.
• Strong preference for nonprofit or mission driven sector experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain an annual email calendar aligned to the fundraising calendar, program seasons, and major events.
• Segment audience lists by donors, volunteers, educators, school and district leaders, and prospects.
• Manage email communications across JA Tampa Bay programs and regions.
• Automate welcome, donor stewardship, and volunteer recruitment sequences in Constant Contact.
• Write and design subject lines, preview text, copy, and on brand templates for newsletters and campaigns.
• Test and optimize via A/B tests and track metrics for monthly reporting.
