Job summary

The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) invites active graduate students to join its 2027 Winter Internship Program in Washington, DC. This paid internship, under the Consultant modality, offers hands-on experience in social sector analytics, knowledge management, and technical cooperation with a focus on inclusion in Latin America and the Caribbean.

You will conduct literature reviews, edit knowledge products, and support project deliverables and data analysis while working full-time from

Qualifications

• Active graduate student in economics, public policy, international development, social sciences or related field.
• Graduation date after the internship period.
• Fluency in English with working knowledge of another Bank language (Spanish, French, or Portuguese) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support analytical, operational and knowledge management work related to care systems and socioeconomic inclusion.
• Conduct literature reviews and background research to support social sector analytical work and Technical CoOperations.
• Review, edit and proofread knowledge products, technical documents, and reports for quality and accuracy.
• Compile, organize and edit deliverables including reports, presentations and briefs.
• Support knowledge management by organizing knowledge products and contributing to knowledge sharing initiatives.
