Job summary

Inter-American Development Bank in Washington, DC is offering a Winter Internship Program for active graduate students to gain professional experience in development work and corporate management. The two-month, full-time internship provides exposure to market intelligence, data analysis, and collaboration across IDB Invest departments.

Ideal candidates are current graduate students in Economics/Finance or International Development, proficient in English with knowledge of another Bank language a

Qualifications

Active graduate student in Economics, Finance, or International Development.
Fluency in English; working knowledge of Spanish/French/Portuguese is a plus.
Strong analytical skills and data visualization.
Experience with Python, R, or Excel for data analysis.

Responsibilities

Assist in targeting business development efforts by conducting research and analyzing industry trends.
Conduct market intelligence activities, including financial statement gathering and assessment, for projects and in the RID region.
Assist in analyzing data to generate market and client insights that support decision-making processes.
Cross-Department Collaboration with IDB Invest departments and others.
Knowledge Sharing: stay updated on business dynamics in the LAC region.
