Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Senior Director, Business Development, Immunology Acquisitions, to lead M&A efforts within Immunology and drive strategic targets across the landscape.

The role partners with the Immunology Therapeutic Area and the broader Johnson & Johnson Innovation organization to deliver rigorous analyses, deal strategy, and seamless execution from initiation through integration.

Qualifications

• BA/BS minimum requirement; MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant business experience required.
• Healthcare or Pharmaceutical experience is required.
• Experience in M&A and/or licensing is preferred.
• Experience with business analytics preferred.
• Finance and/or commercial experience preferred.
• Excellent project management, communication, and presentation skills are required.
• Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Experience in communicating and influencing a broad variety of business leaders, both internally and externally and with varying levels from functional personnel to senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Function as resident expert on the Immunology M&A landscape to guide target selections.
• Champion and develop strategies for acquiring Immunology companies to drive growth and diversification.
• Lead M&A evaluation and execution from initiation to integration with deal strategy and materials.
• Develop robust presentation materials for senior leadership with analytics-driven target recommendations.
• Present internally championed acquisition assessments to senior leadership.
• Partner with internal and external Immunology teams and build relationships with target companies.
• Conduct competitive analysis to evaluate and prioritize opportunities.
• Maintain up-to-date view on external environment and market dynamics for Immunology M&A.
• Provide ad-hoc support for broader business development initiatives.
