Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine’s Patient Engagement and Customer Solutions (PECS) team is recruiting a Field Reimbursement Manager based in Chattanooga, TN. This field-based role requires up to 50% on-site visits with healthcare providers to educate on coverage, prior authorizations, and access strategies.

The role emphasizes collaboration with sales, medical, and payer teams to resolve access challenges and improve patient outcomes across Immunology products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; healthcare or business/public administration preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Account Management and/or Reimbursement experience in hospital or provider settings.
• Demonstrated expertise with pharmacy and medical/buy & bill benefits, coding, and billing.
• Reimbursement or managed care experience (revenue cycle, buy-and-bill, prior authorization, coding, and appeals).
• Ability to establish relationships, collaborate, and influence across a matrix organization.

Responsibilities

• Educate HCPs on product coverage, prior authorizations, and payer requirements.
• Collaborate with field support team members and serve as reimbursement expert for the local team.
• Address access and affordability issues for patients with urgency.
• Partner with managed care colleagues to understand policies and changes.
• Conduct field-based reimbursement and access support aligned to FRM Rules of Engagement.
• Build trust-based relationships with customers in assigned Immunology accounts.
• Manage territory logistics, routing, and account business planning.
• Maintain knowledge of market dynamics including coverage and coding.
