Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking an Immunology and Cryology Lab Supervisor to lead from the front, managing a team of about 20 laboratory professionals, overseeing both analytical and post-analytical phases of testing, and serving as a trusted resource for physicians and clients.

This hands-on leadership role focuses on coaching, problem-solving, and quality oversight, with deep technical involvement on the floor rather than bench work. Strong communication and collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science field required.
• 4+ years of clinical laboratory experience.
• ASCP or AMT certification required.
• Specialized knowledge of electrophoresis and ANA testing; able to speak the technical language.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise approximately 20 staff, including scheduling, daily huddles, and staff development.
• Coach and mentor team to foster accountability and continuous improvement.
• Stay visible on the floor and support staff through day-to-day operations.
