Job summary

AbbVie is seeking an Associate Director to drive commercial strategy and business operations across Immunology and Eye Care. You will lead strategic initiatives, collaborate with brand teams, and shape longer-term growth across multiple franchises.

The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, experience in pharma marketing, and ability to lead without formal authority in a matrix organization. A top-tier MBA or advanced degree is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years in management consulting (2+ years) or pharmaceutical marketing with strong analytical and strategic marketing skills.
• Experience in pharma R&D, Corporate Strategy, Brand Management, and/or Marketing.
• Deep understanding of Immunology and Eye Care products, inline and in development.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-market strategic initiatives to maximize patient impact of in-line brands.
• Collaborate with brand teams to develop launch strategies for launch-ready products.
• Identify longer-term growth opportunities across Immunology (e.g., Strategy LRP, BD assessment, Roadmap and Brand planning).
• Lead cross-functional, matrix-based projects and drive execution with input from Finance, Medical, R&D, HEOR, MABI, Sales, Regulatory, and Market Access.
