Job summary

Stand Together Ventures Lab is seeking a Clinical Lab Scientist I to perform complex immunology testing in a fast-paced lab. You will independently run tests, prepare reagents, and evaluate specimens, ensuring accurate results and timely reporting.

Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, performing QC, and training unlicensed staff. A Bachelor's in medical technology or related field and an active CLS license are required, with 0–3 years of lab experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in medical technology or related sciences.
• Current state CLS license if required.
• Zero to three years of laboratory experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong typing and automation skills.
• Able to perform repetitive tasks, lift up to 50 pounds with assistance, and have good eye-hand coordination.
• Testing for color blindness may be required.

Responsibilities

• Independently conducts moderate to highly complex tests following established procedures.
• Prepares reagents and controls.
• Evaluates specimen acceptability.
• Calculates and documents results.
• Ensures timely reporting of results.
• Maintains and calibrates laboratory equipment.
• Performs quality control, troubleshooting, and proficiency testing.
• Ensures safety, cleanliness, and proper waste disposal in the lab.
• Provides supervision and training to unlicensed staff.
• Participates in quality improvement initiatives.
• Supports new techniques and procedures.
• Maintains confidentiality and adheres to safety and infection control policies.
• Communicates effectively with team members and management.
