Cleveland Clinic Main Campus in Cleveland is seeking a Lab Technician III – Immunohistochemistry to support a high-volume diagnostics lab with advanced technology and expert pathologists. You will review consultations, coordinate with leadership, and help direct daily departmental workflow.

The role offers full-time evening shifts (3:00pm-11:30pm) in a renowned healthcare system, with opportunities to collaborate with top Pathologists and grow your career in a cutting-edge environment.

Formación

• Associate's Degree (preferably in Science) and two years of lab processing experience
• OR four years of Lab Technician or comparable processing experience
• OR active enrollment in the Cleveland Clinic MLS Program

Responsabilidades

• Receive and accession specimens into the LIS.
• Conduct higher level accessioning in the LIS including esoteric testing.
• Conduct advanced tracking investigations.
• Serve as a subspecialty client liaison.
• Be responsible for advanced problem solving/issue resolution (pending log/SERS/block QA).
• Perform tasks involved with frozen section processing (frozen section slide creation).
• Create cell block slides, perform clinical histology tissue embedding and assist in Cytology adequacy assessments.
• Prepare specimens for analysis.
• Perform manual processing (centrifuge, aliquoting and routine maintenance).
• Run and resolve LIS logs.
• Retrieve, sort, track and deliver specimens.
• Perform logistic activities within and outside of lab.
• Use tracking software/devices.
• Comply with safety, SOP & regulations.
• Maintain appropriate documentation.
