Cleveland Clinic is seeking an Immunohistochemistry Lab Technician III at the Main Campus to perform advanced processing and data entry, support subspecialty liaison activities, and contribute to data analytics within the pathology lab.

The role requires an associate degree (science preferred) with two years of lab processing experience; a bachelor’s degree is preferred and MLS program enrollment may substitute experience. Evening shift with 3:00pm–11:30pm schedule.

Formación

• Associate degree required, preferably in Science.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in biology, chemistry, physics or medical laboratory science.
• Four years of lab technician or comparable processing experience may substitute the Associate degree.
• Active enrollment in the Cleveland Clinic MLS program may substitute the two year experience and the Associate degree requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Receives and accession specimens into the LIS.
• Conducts higher level accessioning in the LIS including esoteric testing.
• Performs advanced tracking investigations.
• Serves as a subspecialty client liaison.
• Responsible for advanced problem solving/issue resolution (pending log/SERS/block QA).
• Performs tasks related to Anatomic Pathology, including slide/cell block creation, frozen section processing, embedding, and cytology support.
• Prepares specimens for analysis and performs manual processing (centrifuge, aliquoting, maintenance).
• Runs and resolves LIS logs and maintains documentation.
