Job summary

Vaxcyte is seeking an accomplished Scientist, Immunoassay Development to lead development and lifecycle management of critical reagents for immunoassays across the vaccine pipeline.

This onsite, laboratory-based role requires daily assay execution, data analysis, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration. Ph.D. candidates preferred; MS/BS with strong industry experience will be considered.

Qualifications

• PhD preferred with 0–2 years industry or post-grad experience; or MS with 5+ years; or BS with 8+ years.
• Hands-on immunoassay method development or execution experience.
• Experience in GMP/GLP regulated environments is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on lab work to support immunoassay development and platform evaluation.
• Design and execute experiments for potency, antigenicity, identity, impurity, and stability needs.
• Support evaluation of immunoassay platforms and formats (ELISA, MSD, bead-based, multiplex).
• Generate and interpret immunoassay data, including standard curves and controls.
• Maintain accurate lab records and coordinate testing priorities.
