Job summary

The Immunizations Registry Coordinator at Tarrant County Public Health will support daily operations, oversee data exchange with the Texas Immunization Registry, ensure data quality, and generate reporting to meet grant deliverables.

This grant-funded role requires an associate degree and 4 years in healthcare or public health, plus experience with XML/HL7 and data interoperability; strong communication and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Public Health, Informatics, Data Science, or related field.
• Four years of full-time healthcare/public health experience required.
• Experience with XML and HL7 standards and development.
• Experience in data exchange and immunization reporting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage data exchange with the Texas Immunization Registry and resolve data flow issues.
• Supervise staff correcting data quality and addressing rejections.
• Serve as liaison between DSHS and TCPH for registry communication.
• Develop and maintain training content for the Immunization Registry.
• Analyze immunization data to support reporting and grant deliverables.
• Manage access to the Immunization Registry for TCPH users.
• Provide SME support to internal and external partners.
• Stay informed on immunization reporting policy changes.
