Job summary

Variety Care is seeking a Lead Immunization Coordinator in Oklahoma City to oversee vaccine inventory and administration across clinics. You will monitor orders, document in EMR, and ensure accurate OSIIS data transfers under the Immunization Manager.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and four years in immunization coordination or medical assisting, with CPR certification and bilingual abilities preferred. This role supports QA and staff training in a fast-paced clinic setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Four years of experience as Medical Assistant or Immunization Coordinator.
• Experience administering immunizations.
• Experience ordering, receiving and managing vaccine stock.
• Ability to train and precept immunization staff.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and escort to pre-exam information area.
• Administer vaccines and injections under provider direction; document in EMR.
• Update vaccine information in EMR and OSIIS; ensure HL7 transfer accuracy.
• Monitor and manage vaccine inventory; work with OSDH and clinic pharmacies.
• Provide training and support to immunization staff; assist with compliance and QA.
