Job summary

VARIETY CARE INC is seeking an Immunization Coordinator to oversee immunization operations within the clinic, including inventory, regulatory compliance, documentation, and reporting while maintaining Medical Assistant clinical competency.

The role supports efficient clinic flow and high-quality patient care, with duties spanning vaccine administration, storage monitoring, and collaboration with providers to ensure safe immunization services.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Medical Assistant Certification or 1+ year of equivalent experience.
• Experience across multiple service lines and independent workflow management.
• Proficient in Medical Assistant core competencies.
• Must complete and pass CPR within 90 days.
• Ability to travel 15%+ within state.
• Proficient data entry and typing.
• HIPAA confidentiality adherence.
• Knowledge of lab point-of-care testing instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the clinic resource for immunization workflows, standards, and compliance.
• Manage immunization inventory, including ordering, receiving, storage, monitoring, and reconciliation.
• Maintain immunization documentation in OSIIS and the EMR.
• Submit required immunization reports and documentation to agencies.
• Administer immunizations under provider direction.
• Monitor vaccine storage conditions and logs.
• Support clinic readiness for immunization services through supply management.
• Communicate with patients, providers, and staff in a patient-centered, culturally sensitive manner.
• Adhere to HIPAA, OSHA, infection control, and Variety Care policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
