Job summary

Variety Care Inc. seeks an Immunization Coordinator to lead immunization operations at our Oklahoma City clinic.

You will manage inventory, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain precise documentation and reporting while keeping high-quality patient care and workflow efficiency. Under the Practice Administrator, you will administer vaccines under provider direction, monitor storage, and coordinate with teams to support clinic readiness.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Medical Assistant Certification or 1+ year equivalent experience.
• Experience across multiple service lines with ability to manage workflows independently.
• Proficient in Medical Assistant core competencies.
• Must complete and pass CPR within 90 days of employment.
• Ability to travel 15%+ within state between clinics.
• Proficient data entry and typing skills.
• Knowledge of instrumentation used in lab point-of-care testing as directed within 90 days.
• Maintain confidentiality of information per HIPAA and Variety Care policy.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients.

Responsibilities

• Serves as clinic resource for immunization workflows, standards, and compliance.
• Flexibility to support clinic and patient needs as a Medical Assistant Sr as needed.
• Manages immunization inventory, ordering, receiving, storage, monitoring, and reconciliation per OSDH requirements.
• Maintains accurate immunization documentation in OSIIS and EMR, ensuring data integrity.
• Prepares and submits required immunization reports and documentation.
• Administers immunizations under provider direction and reviews VIS with patients.
• Monitors vaccine storage conditions and temperature logs; escalates variances.
• Supports clinic readiness for immunization services through supply management and workflow coordination.
• Communicates with patients, providers, and team using culturally sensitive, patient-centered practices.
• Adheres to HIPAA, OSHA, infection control, and Variety Care policies.
• Assists with medical emergencies as directed by the provider.
• Supports accreditation as a Patient-Centered Medical Home and Quintuple Aim goals.
• Demonstrates integrity, accountability, and responsible problem solving.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
