The ideal candidate will bring strong writing and editing skills, meet deadlines, and enjoy working with technical content under supervision. Hybrid/remote options are available with offices in Philadelphia and Washington, DC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with excellent academic credentials.
• Strong writing and editing skills (writing sample required).
• Interest in international and intercultural issues.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
• Strong organizational skills with efficient workflow management.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to perform at high levels in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
• Initiative and follow-through with minimal supervision.
• Flexibility to adapt to all situations and hours, including evenings or weekends when deadlines require.
• Proficiency with MS365 Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality documentation translating complex content for a non-scientific audience.
• Review client materials to present achievements in line with USCIS criteria.
• Review sample cases to learn filing presentation and structure.
• Communicate with clients under supervision of Editor or Attorney.
• Assemble exhibits for Editor and/or Attorney review prior to filing.
• Present technical ideas clearly with supervisor input.
• Extract and interpret meaning from technical documents.
• Conduct supplementary research to support client needs.
• Produce documentation meeting applicable standards for its audience.
• Track case progress in the document management system and billing system.
