Job summary

La Luz del Camino Legal, PLLC seeks an experienced Immigration Attorney to join our dynamic team in handling high-stakes immigration matters in court and before USCIS. The ideal candidate will bring 3–5 years in immigration litigation, strong research/writing, and bilingual English/Spanish capabilities.

The role involves travel nationwide and collaboration with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to deliver comprehensive legal services.

Qualifications

3–5 years of immigration litigation experience.
Strong legal research and writing skills.
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
Active bar membership in WA, FL, or IL is a plus.
Willingness to travel nationwide.

Responsibilities

Represent clients in immigration court and before USCIS.
Prepare for hearings and interviews with thorough case prep.
Handle removal defense including ICH, MCH, and bond hearings.
Advocate zealously in court and negotiations with authorities.
Conduct in-depth legal research and review motions/briefs/appeals.
Review family petitions, T/U visas, VAWA, AOS, PIP, waivers, and related relief.
Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and staff to deliver services.
Stay current on immigration laws and procedures.
Maintain clear communication with clients and team.
Travel nationwide for hearings and meetings as needed.
