Job summary

Immigrants First PLLC in the United States seeks an Immigration Attorney to represent individuals in Immigration Court, including SIJS matters, and to prepare clients for interviews before USCIS, the Department of State, and the Asylum Office.

The ideal candidate has a Juris Doctor degree and admission to the bar, with a minimum of two years in immigration law. Spanish is a plus; the attorney will train staff and manage filings and client matters.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree from an accredited U.S. law school and admission to the bar in any U.S. state.
• VA bar is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Represent individuals in Immigration Court and Family courts for SIJS findings.
• Prepare clients for interviews before USCIS, DOS, and Asylum Office.
• Provide direct legal representation for asylum, withholding of removal, and related relief.
• Litigate before the BIA, U-visas, T-visas, waivers of inadmissibility, and Cancellation of Removal.
• Train and supervise support staff and manage casework filings with administrative teams.
