Job summary

W3Global in Irving, TX, is hiring an Immigration Attorney to join a growing immigration and criminal defense practice. You will handle removal defence, family-based immigration, waivers, and proceedings before EOIR and USCIS, developing courtroom and client-advocacy skills.

The ideal candidate has active bar admission in at least one US jurisdiction and fluency in Spanish and English, with strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Active bar admission in at least one US jurisdiction.
• Fluency in Spanish and English.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to develop courtroom and advocacy skills.
• Ability to work directly with clients and staff.
• In-person work from Irving, TX office.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in removal and deportation defence matters.
• Appear before EOIR/Immigration Court, including master calendar and merits hearings.
• Handle bond hearings and other immigration court proceedings.
• Prepare applications for relief and supporting documentation.
• Work on family-based petitions and immigration matters.
• Prepare waivers, motions, briefs and other filings.
• Represent clients before USCIS.
• Assist with appellate matters arising from immigration proceedings.
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategy.
• Communicate with clients and explain complex legal matters clearly.
• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff on case preparation and management.
