Job summary

Immigrants First PLLC is seeking a driven Legal Operations Manager to streamline daily operations for a Manassas, VA immigration law firm. This role requires coordinating with attorneys and staff to optimize case workflows and ensure timely client service.

You will oversee case management systems, monitor deadlines, implement policies, and manage vendor contracts, while leading a small operations team and contributing to a collaborative, mission-driven culture.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in legal operations or law firm management.
• Familiarity with immigration law processes and case management.
• Proficiency in practice management software (Clio/MyCase).
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent English communication; Spanish bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and optimize daily legal operations to ensure efficiency across all practice areas.
• Manage case management systems, workflows, and legal technology platforms.
• Coordinate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure seamless case progression.
• Monitor compliance with legal procedures, deadlines, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and office resources.
• Track key performance metrics and prepare operational reports for firm leadership.
• Support onboarding, training, and performance management of legal support staff.
