Qualifications

  • Must be an undergraduate student of law or a recent graduate starting within 12 months (Internship).
  • Bachelor's degree in law and at least 1 year of work experience OR 5+ years in related field (Trainee).
  • Applicants must speak advanced English.
  • Applicants must be fluent in Spanish.
  • Familiarity with law research, drafting documents.

Responsibilities

  • Handle all aspects of a case including communicating with clients and counsel, drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, and preparing for court hearings and trials.
  • Receive training in legal services including legal research and drafting motions, pleadings, and status updates.
  • Shadow and learn how to prospect for new clients through marketing, networking, writing articles, and speaking engagements.
  • Serve as principal contact between the firm and its clients.
