Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Entry Level Attorney in Miami, FL to join our immigration practice. You will handle initial matters and collaborate with a team on removal defense, family-based petitions, asylum, and humanitarian relief, with direct client contact from day one.

The ideal candidate has a JD from an ABA-accredited school, active Florida Bar standing, and at least 2 years of hands-on immigration experience. Bilingual abilities in Spanish, Haitian Creole, or Portuguese are strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• JD from ABA-accredited law school is required.
• Active Florida Bar license in good standing is required.
• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on immigration law experience.
• Familiarity with USCIS, EOIR, and immigration court procedures.
• Bilingual in Spanish, Haitian Creole, or Portuguese is preferred.

Responsibilities

Job Details

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in Florida, in good standing with the Florida Bar

• Working knowledge of USCIS, EOIR, and immigration court procedures
• Bilingual proficiency strongly preferred (Spanish, Haitian Creole, or Portuguese)

• Comfortable working in a fast paced, small firm environment with direct client contact from day one
